As of now, the 2022 fair is being planned as an in-person/on-campus event (not online) at WCU's Ramsey Center. The dates are February 14 (Grades 3-5) and February 15 (Grades 6-12). Our fair is normally held annually at the campus of Western Carolina University in the Ramsey Regional Activity Center. Students (grades 3 – 12) from the westernmost counties in North Carolina compete, and the winners move on to the state NCSEF (North Carolina Science & Engineering Fair) competition. *****Fair Director Contact: David Kinner (828) 227.7646 | email@example.com *******WEATHER POLICY (during non-covid times when fair is held on-campus): Inclement weather is always unpredictable across our region. Unless the university itself is closed (which is highly unlikely), the fair will be held as scheduled with set up time from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. each day. Transportation to and from the fair is the responsibility of the students and/or parents. Teachers or parents may bring and set up projects during the check-in time, but students must be present during the judging starting at 10:15 a.m. *****
